About

Thank you for checking out my blog! Stick around, and don’t worry, I’m not always this crazy (just most of the time). Here is a little bit about me:

My name is Lilah and I am 16 years old. First and foremost I am a Christian and follower of the one true God. I am in eleventh grade and a homeschooler. I have two younger sisters and three younger brothers. I enjoy reading, writing, singing, playing piano, swimming, going camping, and doing fun things with my friends and family. I am also a HUGE grammar and English nerd and love to admire great sentences.

I am a teenager only in the sense that my age ends in “teen.” Teenagers are stereotyped as lazy, demanding technophiles who do nothing but stare at their cell phones 24 hours a day. If that is what a teenager is then I don’t want to be one. I believe that the teenage years aren’t just times to goof off and act up but that even teenagers can bring glory and honor to God. You can check out the post I wrote about teenagers here: https://walkwithmysavior.wordpress.com/2017/04/20/1-timothy-412/.

I am definitely not perfect and don’t pretend to be. I am just as in need of a Savior as you. I make mistakes, am selfish, and mean, but it is through the grace of God that I have been saved and strive to become more like Jesus every day.

I hope that what I say is encouraging and uplifting for your own walk with your Savior. Don’t ever forget that the God who made you and shaped you in your mother’s womb loves and cares for you daily, enough to send his only Son to die on a tree just to save you.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

God bless!
