Oh, I guess I should probably introduce myself:
My name is Lilah and first and foremost, I am a Christian and follower of the one true God. I am 16 and am homeschooled (but I promise, I’m not weird!). My house is never quiet with two younger sisters and three younger brothers. When not doing school, I enjoy reading, writing, singing, swimming, going camping, and just chilling with my friends and family. I am also a HUGE grammar and English nerd and love to admire great sentences.
I am a teenager only in the sense that my age ends in “teen.” Teenagers are stereotyped as lazy, demanding technophiles who do nothing but stare at their cell phones 24 hours a day. If that is what a teenager is then I don’t want to be one. I believe that the teenage years aren’t just times to goof off and act up but that even teenagers can bring glory and honor to God. You can check out the post I wrote about teenagers here: https://walkwithmysavior.wordpress.com/2017/04/20/1-timothy-412/.
I am definitely not perfect and don’t pretend to be. I am just as in need of a Savior as anyone. I make mistakes, am selfish and mean, and am an altogether screwed-up sinner. But it is through the grace of God that I have been saved and strive to become more like Jesus every day.
I hope that what I say is encouraging and uplifting to you on your spiritual journey. Don’t ever forget that the God who made you and shaped you in your mother’s womb loves and cares for you daily, enough to send his only Son to die on a tree just to save you.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
(Well, now you know all about me and I know nothing about you. Definitely, say “hello” and introduce yourself. I’ll try to tune down the extroversion until it’s too late for you to back out… 😉
